About the institution
Coorg Institute of Technology (CIT) is nestled in a sprawling campus amidst imposing mountains and mesmerizing landscape of Coorg (Kodagu), Karnataka. The location of CIT is draped in a green, pollution free and tranquil environment of Western Ghats which is declared a world heritage center by UNESCO. Established in the year 1999, by a group of eminent visionaries and philanthropists under the aegis of Kodava Education Society (KES), CIT stands for its mission of empowering technical education aspirants from rural background in a conducive atmosphere which is away from cacophony of cities.
